Above: The signs of these protestors say (right) "Wake Up America," and the words are repeated in French, below.  The top sign says no to  "Apathy." The poster's sign (left) says, Bush Lost!  And Is Lost!" 

Above:  This is "the wall."  It is living art that asks, "Election 2000--What are You Going to Do About It?" Protestors were invited to write or draw on a square what they were going to do about Election 2000. The squares were made up like a patchwork quilt.

This protestor did not address the question but nevertheless made a point.

At the end of the protest I was lucky enough to catch up to entertainer Rande Harris to tell him how much I liked his music. This is Rande and his guitar--which looks to have seen a protest or two-- heading to the departure point after the march.
